Wakfu for Nintendo DS

From Wakfu Wikia

Along with the PC version, Wakfu developers have announced that Wakfu is coming over to the Nintendo DS platform as well. This announcement took place in G.A.M.E. in Paris in April 2007, and the news was since confirmed by a game developer, Sylfaen, on the game's French forums.

The Nintendo DS is said to have two different versions of Wakfu: the "darkness" version, and the "brightness" version. The only known difference between both so far is the nature of some of the droppable objects. It is not known yet if any difference will appear between the two versions apart from this.

The Nintendo DS version of Wakfu is quite different from the PC/Mac/Linux version since its core component will be offline rather than online, making it a Tactical RPG rather than a Tactical MMORPG. The game is said to contain a fair number of different dungeons and quests and keep the basic Wakfu gameplay (which is still mainly unknown).

The game will also feature an extensive wireless gameplay, ranging from a cooperative mode to a defying system. Another feature that has already been touted is the possibility to obtain exclusive objects through drops, then transfer them over to one of your characters from its PC counterpart. Although this feature will most likely be achieved through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, how this will work is currently unknown.
